Akim of Almaty inspected a kindergarten built in the Nauryzbay district
Akim of Almaty Yerbolat Dosayev inspected a new kindergarten built in the Shugyla microdistrict during a working detour of the Nauryzbay district.
The construction of a 320-seat preschool was started in May 2022. The project was divided into two parts – the construction of a building with landscaping and the construction of utility networks. However, its implementation was delayed due to non-fulfillment of contractual obligations by contractors.
In this regard, the Construction Department filed lawsuits against Astana-Stroyinvest Corporation LLP and Teploenergostroy LLP for recognizing them as unscrupulous participants in public procurement and collecting penalties. The claims against the first contractor have been fully satisfied, and the second claim is under consideration.
Today, the construction and interior decoration of the kindergarten have been completed in full, the territory has been landscaped and the necessary equipment has been installed. All engineering networks are also connected and connected. That is, the facility is completed and procedures are underway to put it into operation.
The building provides specialized facilities for classes with children, including a gym and music classes, as well as staff quarters. Planning solutions ensure the principle of maximum isolation of individual groups from each other and from administrative and business premises.
Following the inspection of the building, the head of the city pointed out to the management of the departments of construction and education a number of shortcomings, instructing them to eliminate the comments in the shortest possible time.

"The district is actively developing and in order to ensure the walking distance of social infrastructure for residents of nearby houses, it was decided to build another kindergarten in this neighborhood. People are waiting for its opening, so it is necessary to promptly eliminate all comments and by the end of the year the kindergarten should start accepting children," Yerbolat Dosayev said.

It should be noted that 148 kindergartens operate in the Nauryzbay district. In order to reduce the shortage of places, it is planned to complete the construction of two more kindergartens with 320 places each next year.
