Engineering networks built in 1980-1990 are being modernized in Almaty on behalf of Yerbolat Dosayev

Akim of Almaty Yerbolat Dosayev got acquainted with the progress of construction of engineering networks in the MKR during a working detour of the Auezovsky district. Mamyr-4.
Before the modernization, networks built in the 1980s and 1990s were operated in this neighborhood. Their wear rate was 90%. In August of this year, on behalf of the mayor of the city, work began on the construction of water supply and sanitation networks in the MKR. Mamyr-4. The total length is 12.3 km: water supply – 6.5 km, sanitation – 5.8 km. The construction of engineering networks this year will take place on 14 through passages inside this neighborhood.
Today, 2 km of drainage networks and 1.5 km of water supply have been laid. The project will cover 197 houses, where more than 750 people live. The construction is scheduled to be completed in August next year.
In 2025, it is planned to lay networks on 4 streets: Abai Ave., Momyshuly st., Sain st. and Mustai Karim st.
Yerbolat Dosayev instructed the akim of the Auezovsky district to ensure the high-quality completion of works on the construction of engineering networks in the Mamyr-4 microdistrict in accordance with the schedule. The head of the city noted the importance of timely connection of all houses to new networks and improvement of the quality of life of residents of the neighborhood.
It should be recalled that the modernization of engineering infrastructure is actively underway in Almaty. In 9 months of this year, 219 km of new water supply and sanitation networks were built, 27.3 km of existing networks were modernized. In 2025, it is planned to build another 240 km and modernize 48 km of networks.
Thus, thanks to the complex of measures taken for about 100 thousand citizens, the long-term problem of water supply and sanitation associated with high wear of engineering networks will be solved.
