A competition among journalists for the best works dedicated to the fight against corruption has started in Astana, the official website of the capital's akimat reports.
The competition was organized by the Astana Office of Internal Policy in cooperation with the Department of the Anti-Corruption Agency of the Republic of Kazakhstan and the Union of Youth and Children's Organizations of the Karaganda region.
It is aimed at forming an anti-corruption consciousness among citizens and supporting journalists covering topical issues of anti-corruption.
Publications by journalists in 2024 are allowed to participate.
Applications will be accepted until November 30, after which the works will be evaluated according to criteria such as relevance of the topic, depth of disclosure, originality of approach and accessibility of presentation.
The winners will be awarded with cash prizes at a ceremony. The winner will receive 150,000 tenge, the winner of the 2nd place - 100,000 tenge and the 3rd — 50,000 tenge.
