On November 8, Akim of the region Nurdaulet Kilybai met with residents of the Mangystau district. At a meeting in the house of culture of the village of Shetpe, residents touched upon the development of the district and raised topical issues.
First, Akim of Mangystau district Galymzhan Niyazov announced the indicators of socio-economic development of the district for the first 9 months of 2024, reported on the work done.
According to the akim of the district, a new small district is being built in the center of the Mangystau district. The infrastructure has been fully implemented on the territory of 800 land plots. This year, within the framework of the Comfortable School project, a 600-bed general education institution and a medical outpatient clinic are being built in the new district. In addition, it is planned to build a house of culture with 600 seats, a sports complex, buildings of the police, prosecutor's office, court, archive, defense affairs, students' palace, administrative buildings. Design and estimate documentation is being prepared today.
According to the instruction of the head of state, new educational facilities are being intensively built in the district. This year, a school for 100 places was put into operation in the village of Beki for the first time.
A number of positive changes are taking place in the field of culture and sports. A new car with a capacity of 13 people was purchased for touring rural artists. Also, street sports, children's playgrounds and workout areas are being built in 12 villages of the district.
The main branch of the economy of the Mangystau region is agriculture. Currently, 578 farms and 531 livestock farms are registered in the district. The district covers 40% of the camel population in the region, which makes it possible to produce about 20 thousand tons of camel milk per year. Within the framework of the Auyl Amanaty project, 10 projects have been proposed to increase the production of camel milk.
3 investment projects are being implemented in the district. At the initiative of Karat LLP, a drinking water production plant is being built. The cost of the project is 864 million tenge. After the construction of the workshop, 35 people will be employed for permanent jobs. And in 2025, Caspiy Milk LLP and Mangystau Milk LLP plan to start producing dry dairy products from camel milk.
Nurdaulet Kilybai proposed to give the village of Ondy the status of the most exemplary settlement at the republic level.
- In the village of Ondy, where the national writer Abish Kekilbayev was born, not a single offense has been registered in recent years. Alcoholic beverages are not sold in the store. There is a garden with a thousand fruit trees. Therefore, we intend to include Ondy as a model village as the northern village of Rodina. Today, a special plan is being developed for the improvement and prosperity of the village," said Nurdaulet Kilybai.
During the meeting, residents raised questions about the lack of schools, the construction of a training ground for riders, the need for public transport, and special attention was paid to the career and problems of the village of Kosbulak. Proposals were also made for the development of animal husbandry, healthcare, education and sports.
During the five-hour meeting, the governor of the region, who answered requests and questions, instructed the heads of responsible areas to systematically resolve topical issues.
After the meeting, Nurdaulet Kilybai received the citizens of the district on personal issues.
