This year, after almost 30 years of downtime, the reconstruction of the Kazpost boiler house in Kurchum was carried out. Thanks to the repairs carried out, the heating season began on time, and heat was supplied to residential buildings and institutions.
On October 15, the boiler house resumed operation, which allowed connecting secondary school No. 4, apartment buildings along Dukhovichy, 18 and B. Momyshuly, 18 and 20 streets to heat.
This has significantly improved conditions for schoolchildren and local residents, who have been heated with stoves for 30 years and faced difficulties buying coal and firewood.
- For 30 years we have been experiencing inconveniences with the furnace, with the purchase of coal and firewood. Now we are warm, clean and joyful in our hearts," one of the local residents shared.
It should be noted that in 2023, boiler room No. 1 was repaired, to which two multi-storey buildings and a kindergarten "Kurchum" were connected. These steps are aimed at improving the quality of life of the population, providing residents with warmth and comfort during the cold seasons.
