Due to the expected record harvest of sugar beet and the proximity to producers, there is a congestion of vehicles near the Koksu sugar factory in the Zhetysu region.
In this regard, all necessary measures are being taken to organize uninterrupted and timely acceptance of new crop raw materials.
In order to resolve the situation, the capacity of the plant has been increased from 3 thousand tons to 4 thousand tons of raw materials per day. The operational headquarters at the akimat of the Zhetysu region has updated the previously approved schedule for receiving sugar beet and is conducting explanatory work with beet collectors.
In order to stabilize the situation and maintain the established technological load on the plant, as well as to avoid a decrease in the quality of raw materials, beet processors must strictly adhere to the established schedule.
To date, according to the sugar beet acceptance schedule agreed between farmers and the plant, 190 thousand tons of the planned 250 thousand tons of sugar beet have already been accepted by the Koksu Sugar Plant.
It should be added that in total sugar factories accepted 647 thousand tons of beet for processing: the Merken plant — 223 thousand tons, the Koksu plant — 190 thousand tons, the Aksu plant — 234 thousand tons, of which 24 thousand tons came from the Zhambyl region.
