The delegation of the Abai region visited the Alabuga Special Economic zone, established in 2006, to get acquainted with the conditions for investors and the opportunities it provides. The zone offers fully prepared industrial, engineering, transport and customs infrastructure, as well as significant tax and customs benefits.
The construction sites covering 2,000 hectares are provided with all necessary communications, roads and utility networks. Residents can buy out the plots on which their facilities are located after the buildings are put into operation.
The participants of the delegation, headed by Deputy Akim of the region Abai Zhasulan Sarsebayev, got acquainted with favorable tax conditions, including the exemption of residents from paying taxes on property, land and transport for 10 years.
The delegates visited the cottage village "Three Bears" and a residential building with 64 apartments, which provide comfortable conditions for resident employees. They also noted the presence of a protected area with a video surveillance system.
The educational opportunities of Alabuga International School, which offers training in the International Baccalaureate (IB) program, became another interesting aspect, which emphasized the attention of the delegation to the educational infrastructure.
