More than 1,200 units of special equipment and more than 300 road workers went out to clean the streets of the city from snow during the night shift. Snow removal is carried out in shifts, the official website of the akimat reports.
Snow removal works are carried out in an enhanced mode, with intensification in the evening and at night, as well as route adjustments. First of all, according to the rules, areas with heavy traffic are cleared so that congestion does not form on the roads. Further, areas with an average traffic intensity are removed from the snow – squares, station areas, sidewalks.
There are several equipped snow ranges in the city. They are equipped with a system for reading license plates of dump trucks, video surveillance cameras are installed here, lighting is connected.
Over 20 thousand cubic meters of snow have been removed from the city today, this is 1,609 flights of heavy trucks.
We urge residents and guests of the city to be extremely careful when moving on the street, observe safety rules in case of precipitation.
