October 24, 2024, Astana. On the eve of the Day of the Republic of Kazakhstan, a large-scale tree planting campaign continues in the country within the framework of the republican project "Taza Kazakhstan", aimed at improving the environmental situation and greening cities and villages.
Today, 1,000 seedlings of various tree species have been planted in the village of Zhibek Zholy, including Siberian apple tree, round-leaved irga and Virgin cherry. The seedlings were provided by the RSE at the Zhasyl Aimak Agricultural Complex, which actively supports the landscaping of other settlements throughout the country.
The action was attended by representatives of local authorities, deputies, schoolchildren and residents of the village. Tree planting has become a symbol of unity and care for the native land, which is especially important on the eve of the national holiday. Tree planting events were also held in schools in the region to educate young people about respect for nature.
Earlier, 3,600 trees were planted in Astana within the framework of Taza Kazakhstan.
Also, in the area of the Botanical Garden of the city, it is planned to transfer more than 2,500 seedlings to government officials who will plant them in the adjacent territories and places of residence.
