The school building for 1,200 students, built more than half a century ago, needed major repairs, which had not been carried out for over 20 years. During the previous detour, the head of the city gave the contractor a number of instructions, in particular, to expand the entrance group of the building, to arrange irrigation ditches in the adjacent territory. Special attention should have been paid to the quality of the materials used and the modern equipment of the school.
Taking into account the comments made by the head of the city, during the repair, seismic reinforcement of the building with restoration work, repair of the roof, heating system, water supply and sanitation networks were carried out, the territory of the educational institution was landscaped, the foundation of the sports stadium was rebuilt.
Also, on behalf of Yerbolat Dosayev, mini-football and basketball courts, a table tennis court, outdoor games and exercise equipment have been installed for comfortable physical education. The fences around the perimeter of the school have been replaced.
The students returned to their desks in the renovated building on November 6 after completing all repairs.
"The development of social infrastructure, the construction of schools, kindergartens and their modernization is a priority of our work. In the city, schools built in neighborhoods are brought up to modern standards. An example is School No. 9, and work in this direction will continue," said Yerbolat Dosayev.
In total, there are 55 schools in the Auezovsky district of Almaty, including 33 public and 22 private, which have 59 thousand students. The first comfortable school was opened here in September this year. It was built on the site of Gymnasium No. 97, which was declared an emergency after 60 years of operation and demolished.
