The issue of providing the population with medicines was considered at a staff meeting chaired by Akim of the region Askhat Shakharov.
Nurbol Tympiev, Head of the Health Department of Aktobe region, reported that for 2024, the Social Health Insurance Fund has identified the need for 512 names of medicines and medical devices. Within the framework of GOBMP and OSMS, an additional limit was allocated to adults and children for 136 items in the amount of 417.7 million tenge and for the needs of outpatient drug provision within the framework of GOBMP in the amount of 1.38 billion tenge.
As of November 8, a single distributor shipped 537 names of medicines and medical devices worth 8.11 billion tenge to 41 medical organizations in the region.
Also, 548 million tenge was allocated from the local budget to provide medicines and medical products. The drugs are intended for 403 patients undergoing outpatient treatment for 29 types of diseases. As of today, 459 million tenge has been disbursed.
Also, 47 patients, including cancer patients, are provided with medicines within the framework of charitable assistance at the expense of the public fund "Kazakhstan Khalkyna".
After hearing the information, the governor of the region instructed to keep the issue of providing medicines under control, establish regular replenishment of medical institutions with stocks of medicines and ensure targeted and effective spending of funds allocated for the purchase of medicines.
