By the order of the akim of Akmola region dated November 11, 2024, in coordination with the Administration of the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan and with the consent of the deputies of the maslikhat, Azamat Kapyshev was appointed akim of Kosshy city.

Presenting the asset of the new mayor of Kosshy, Akim of Akmola region Marat Akhmetzhanov noted that Azamat Kapyshev is a competent and qualified leader with high professional qualities.

The new leadership of the capital city has tasks in the areas of housing and communal services, including water supply, electricity and heat supply and infrastructure.
The head of the region instructed to keep under personal control the commissioning of all planned facilities and prevent their disruption. It is also safe and uninterrupted to spend the heating season. The issues of garbage collection and landscaping and improvement of the appearance of the city also require special attention.

Taking into account the favorable geographical location, it is necessary to attract investments and continue work on the development of entrepreneurship and tourism.

There is an active work to be done in such areas as the commissioning and construction of social facilities and the development of the road network.
At the end of the meeting, Marat Akhmetzhanov wished success in the implementation of the assigned tasks, and also expressed gratitude to the former mayor of Kosshy Gaidar Kasenov for the work done.
