An hour of personal safety for students of the state college was held in Astana with the participation of representatives of the Department of Education, the city Police Department and the Prosecutor's Office, the sphere of culture and sports, the official website of the capital's akimat reports.
The meeting is aimed at improving the legal literacy of students. During the explanatory work, information was provided on the rights and responsibilities of young people, the consequences of offenses and ways to ensure their own safety.
The issues of walking on the street at night, visiting entertainment venues, theft, extortion, drug addiction, alcohol consumption and prevention of public order violations were also voiced.
It should be noted that in accordance with the instructions of the Prosecutor General's Office, from November 4 to 11, employees of 16 mobile groups organized security lessons in 115 state institutions in five districts of the city and held lectures to teenagers.
