A large-scale festival "Almaty Student's Week" has started in Almaty, dedicated to the International Student Day on November 17. The event is held with the support of the Youth Policy Department of Almaty city. The main purpose of the festival is to involve students in active participation in the life of the city and identify young leaders.
From November 11 to 17, the festival will host about 30 different events for students. Each participant of the Almaty Student's Week festival will be able to show their talents and demonstrate leadership qualities. The festival also provides an opportunity for young people to gain useful connections and interact with students of other universities, which contributes to the development of interuniversity cooperation.
The events of the festival open up platforms for the exchange of experience, ideas and knowledge, creating the basis for future joint projects and initiatives. This is a unique opportunity for students to express themselves in the intellectual, sports, cultural and social spheres, strengthening their skills and enriching their horizons.
An important part of Almaty Student's Week is fostering the spirit of patriotism, strengthening the unity of youth, as well as the formation of a socially active and cohesive student community ready to successfully cope with the challenges of modernity.
It should be noted that more than 199,000 students study in 35 higher educational institutions of Almaty, of which more than 124 thousand are from other cities.
