This year, 375 participants competed for the title of" Best", more than 150 experts worked to identify the leaders.
The competition was aimed at increasing the importance and prestige of working professions and professions, promoting the best practices of vocational training, attracting the attention of employers to the training of working personnel in the vocational education system of the city and promoting the employment of graduates, attracting young people to the real sectors of the economy of Astana.
According to the organizers, this year the contest is held for the third year in a row. But college students are participating for the first time this time. Last year, participants competed only in 5 professional competencies, this year they competed among 25 working professions.
The city competition lasted 20 days, and a number of leaders of the working profession were identified in 10 colleges. Among them are such areas as construction and repair work, culinary and confectionery, restaurant activities, IT solutions, hairdressing, entrepreneurship, as well as pedagogy and childcare.
According to the results of the competition, 75 participants with the most points became winners and were offered to participate in the upcoming city championship WorldSkills-2025.
The winners were awarded with diplomas of I, II, III degrees, as well as valuable prizes from the Youth Resource Center "Astana zhastary" of Astana akimat and social partners of colleges.
