On November 3, 2024, an incident occurred in the Akbulak River area, next to the Dream trading house on Amman Street, 14, which almost ended tragically. Two children, born in 2014 and born in 2013, who were fishing from the shore, inadvertently fell into the river.
The eyewitnesses who reacted in a timely manner, Arslanbek Magzum (deputy of the Maslikhat of Astana, chairman of the branch of the Zhastar Rukhy MK under the AMANAT party of Astana) and Roman Stratonov, did not lose their heads in a critical situation and, despite the danger, rushed into the water, pulling the children to a safe place. After that, an ambulance was immediately called and the injured were transferred to the hands of professionals.
This case is a vivid evidence of the importance of coordination and speed of action at critical moments, as well as an example of the courage and dedication of people who are ready to help at any moment.
