On November 12 of this year, Minister of Justice Azamat Eskarayev spoke at the plenary session of the Diplomatic Conference on the Conclusion and Adoption of the Treaty on Laws on Samples (SD).
"International cooperation in the field of legal protection of industrial property plays an important role in promoting innovation, supporting creative potential and stimulating economic development," the Minister said.
In his speech, Azamat Eskarayev expressed support for the adoption of the SDT, which is of key importance for the unification and simplification of the protection of industrial designs at the global level.
The adoption of SDCs will significantly simplify the process of registration of industrial designs in the international arena, which will positively affect the possibility of broader copyright protection and stimulate the creation of new industrial products.
