A set of measures to ensure fire safety is being carried out in the region. Since the beginning of the heating season, among the population living in the private residential sector, employees of the MIO together with the emergency Department have conducted more than 84,000 yard rounds.

- Fire safety is not a month for East Kazakhstan. This work should go on all year round. We did not allow forest fires, now the akims must deal with the safety of the population during the heating season," the head of the region noted.

During the rounds, residents revealed violations related to stove heating, as well as the operation of electrical networks and electrical equipment. More than 17 thousand violations were eliminated on the spot.

- Don't be indifferent. Install carbon monoxide sensors for socially vulnerable segments of the population. 42 people have been saved in 5 years. A person's life is more important than any money," Yermek Kosherbayev added.
It should be noted that over the past 5 years, more than 16 thousand carbon monoxide sensors have been installed in the East Kazakhstan region.
