Baiganin is an area with developed agriculture. Currently, there are 414 peasant farms, 19 production cooperatives and 5 LLP in the district. There are more than 50,000 cattle, 132 thousand small cattle, 33 thousand horses and 4,100 camels in the region.
"Since the beginning of the year, 185 applications have been approved for the Auyl Amanaty project, financed in the amount of 1 billion 190 million tenge. Among these projects, 15 are greenhouses, 15 are poultry farming, 69 are for opening small businesses and 90 are for livestock farming," Akim of the Bayganinsky district Aibek Kopenov said at a press conference at the regional communications service.
Currently, the district farms are fully provided with livestock feed. To provide the necessary fodder in rural districts, land was allocated from the reserve fund. A feed fair was held in 8 villages, as a result of which 69 households received 146.2 tons of feed at a reduced price.
