On November 12 this year, on the sidelines of the Diplomatic Conference, Minister of Justice Azamat Eskarayev met with the Director General of the Saudi Intellectual Property Authority (SAIP), Dr. Abdulaziz bin Mohammed Al-Swail.
At the meeting with SAIP, the parties discussed the prospects for bilateral cooperation in the field of intellectual property, emphasizing the importance of joint efforts to protect and promote intellectual property rights in both countries. Special attention was paid to the exchange of experience and training in this field.
The Minister of Justice of Kazakhstan noted that strengthening cooperation with Saudi Arabia in the field of intellectual property will contribute to the development of innovation and creative industries.
He expressed confidence that joint initiatives and projects will create favorable conditions for entrepreneurs and investors, as well as strengthen the legal protection of intellectual property rights. The CEO of SAIP, in turn, stressed his readiness for active cooperation with Kazakh colleagues.
He noted that the exchange of knowledge and best practices between the countries will be an important step towards the harmonization of standards and procedures in the field of intellectual property.
This meeting was an important stage in strengthening bilateral relations between the Republic of Kazakhstan and the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, opening up new opportunities for cooperation in the field of intellectual property.
