Potential and priorities for the formation of low-carbon infrastructure in Central Asia

In the national pavilion of Qazaqstan, the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources of the Republic of Kazakhstan, together with the REC "Green Academy", with the support of the OECD SIPA project, held a session on the topic "Potential and priorities for the formation of low-carbon infrastructure in Central Asia".
Deputy of the Mazhilis of the Parliament of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Chairman of the Committee on Ecology and Natural Resources of the Republic of Kazakhstan Edil Zhanbyrshin, Minister of Ecology and Natural Resources of the Republic of Kazakhstan Yerlan Nysanbayev, Head of the Department of Sustainable Infrastructure and Green Growth of the OECD, Chairman of the Board of Freedom Holding Corp Timur Turlov, as well as representatives of international organizations UNEP, CTCN Secretariat, Agritech company / Nexigol Navovar, heads of scientific organizations.
At the end of the event, the participants presented recommendations to the governments of Central Asian countries, focusing on the need for enhanced international cooperation and the introduction of low-carbon technologies.
