Agrarians of the Karaganda region are introducing modern water-saving technologies that reduce water consumption by 1.5 times. This was announced at the site of the regional communications service by Acting director of the Karaganda branch of Kazvodkhoz Yergali Omarov.
Today, the state subsidizes 60% of the cost of each cubic meter of irrigation water purchased from the branch through the use of water-saving irrigation technologies.
"Next year, the branch will continue to overhaul the canals at the Zhartas reservoir. This year, the repair of concrete slopes and bottoms of sections of the Zhartassky and Malokomspaysky main channels of the Zhartassky reservoir was carried out," Acting Director of the Karaganda branch of Kazvodkhoz Yergali Omarov said.
