Yerasyl Kazhybayev, representing the Abai region, became the winner of the annual Kazakhstan kuresi tournament "Kazakhstan Barysy-2024", which was held in the capital. The competition brought together 42 of the country's best wrestlers who won the qualifying tournaments.
Also, a wrestler from the Abai region, Sayat Shamshiev, took 3rd place in the tournament.
The Kazakhstan Barysy tournament, which was first held in 2011, has long been a symbol of national pride and strength, returning viewers to the traditions and culture of Kazakh wrestling.
