On October 23, 2024, with the participation of representatives of the territorial departments of the National Security Committee of the Republic of Kazakhstan, the police and local executive bodies, employees of the Department of Economic Investigations of the region explained the organization of anti-terrorist protection.
The following information was provided during the event:
- requirements for the organization of anti-terrorist protection of objects vulnerable to terrorism approved by Resolution of the Government of the Republic of Kazakhstan dated May 6, 2021 No. 305;
- rules for the functioning of the National Video Monitoring System, approved by Order No. 69-ke of the Chairman of the National Security Committee of the Republic of Kazakhstan dated October 27, 2020;
- updating of the passport of anti-terrorist protection of objects vulnerable to terrorism, based on the model approved by the joint order of the Minister of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Kazakhstan dated June 14, 2023 No. 481 and the Chairman of the National Security Committee of the Republic of Kazakhstan dated June 26, 2023 No. 51/ke;
- signs of an improvised explosive device and the algorithm of actions when they are detected;
- a scheme for notifying on-duty services in order to minimize and eliminate the consequences of terrorist threats;
- the inevitability of punishment for deliberately false messages;
- rules for the establishment and payment of remuneration for information that helped to prevent or suppress an act of terrorism.
