Mayor of Astana Zhenis Kassymbek on his Instagram page told about the investment projects being implemented in the city, the official website of the capital's akimat reports.
"We are also attracting private investment in the development of the city. We held a meeting of the investment staff, where we considered a number of investor proposals.
For example, these are projects for the construction of factories for the production of precast reinforced concrete structures, specialized work shoes, and full-cycle sanitary and hygienic paper.
They also considered projects for the construction of an ethno-recreation center and an equestrian sports complex aimed at popularizing the cultural heritage of Kazakhstan; a chess academy, a logistics complex for the production, distribution and storage of ice cream and other food products, etc.
These projects will attract 16 billion tenge of private investment to the city, create about 700 permanent jobs.
We hold meetings of the regional investment staff on a regular basis. We consider each project individually, provide comprehensive support to investors," the mayor of the capital said.
