During the festive concert dedicated to the Republic Day, Akim of the East Kazakhstan region Yermek Kosherbayev stressed that Kazakhstan is developing as a state with a strong management system, a stable economy and an active foreign policy course.
- Over the past five years, large-scale reforms have been implemented in the country through a radical transformation of the political system. Fundamental changes are taking place in the public consciousness, the level of legal culture of citizens is increasing, new patterns of behavior are forming in society and values are taking root," the head of the region noted.
Yermek Kosherbayev added that the openness of the government and partnership with civil society institutions are priorities in the region. Solving socially significant tasks requires the mobilization of public potential and the consistent use of all resources.
One of the most important projects was the launch of the bridge over the Bukhtarma reservoir, the longest crossing in Central Asia.

"This facility will connect seven districts, strengthening the country's transit potential and regional development," Yermek Kosherbayev said.
He also mentioned that in November it is planned to sign an agreement with the Indian company "IREL Limited" for the construction of a titanium slag production plant, which will ensure the competitiveness of Kazakhstani titanium in the world market.
"All the achievements of the Republic are the result of unity and creative work of the whole society,— the mayor stressed.
In conclusion, he wished prosperity and peace to every citizen of Kazakhstan, noting the importance of striving for new victories.
