On the occasion of the 90th anniversary of the district, the company "Kazchrome" TNC" JSC presented such a gift to the residents of Khromtau.
The head of the region attended the opening of the cultural center. Askhat Shakharov congratulated the residents of Khromtau district on the anniversary and thanked the management of ERG for their active participation in the implementation of the project, which will become an important center for the creativity and development of young people.
"The head of state has always emphasized that the strength of a nation lies not only in its economic well-being, but also in its spiritual wealth. Culture is the soul of the people, its memory and future. By opening this center, we are creating a space where everyone can learn about our rich cultural heritage in detail and contribute to its development. We especially appreciate the citizens who have contributed to the prosperity of our region in the Year of Working Professions. We are confident that this cultural and recreational center will become a favorite place for city residents, a wonderful environment for those who respect art, creativity, and strive for spiritual development,” said the regional governor Askhat Shakharov in his congratulatory speech.
The regional head also recalled that in December last year, the Head of State got acquainted with the socio-economic development of the region and gave a positive assessment of its future.
“This is a great confidence in the future of the region. The task now is to justify this support, continue the dynamic development of our region, multiply achievements, and reach new heights,” the governor noted.
The cultural facility was erected within the framework of a memorandum on the implementation of socially significant projects between the Aktobe region akimat and Eurasian Resources Group (ERG). JSC “TNC “Kazchrome” as part of the group allocated more than 1.6 billion tenge for its construction. The total cost of the project is 1.8 billion. tenge.
The opening of the cultural and recreational center was also attended by Serik Shakhazhanov, General Director of Eurasian Group LLP. According to him, several years ago, at one of the meetings with the ERG management, employees of the Don KBC expressed a desire to open a modern cinema in Khromtau, as Khromtau residents used to go to the regional center to watch movies. The company's management decided to create a cultural and recreational center, taking into account the growth of the population of the city of Khromtau.
"Our company pays attention not only to comfortable working conditions, but also to the lives of our employees. The city of miners and miners is growing and developing, so it was decided to build a cultural and recreational center instead of a cinema. "We hope that all the social projects we implement based on the requests of our employees and residents of Khromtau will improve people's lives," said Serik Shahazhanov.
The new cultural and leisure center is equipped with a modern auditorium with a capacity of 400 seats, a digital cinema system, exhibition space and classrooms.
The regional akim got acquainted with the capabilities of the center, visited the stage, the audience hall and rooms for creative circles. The akim of Khromtau district Nurkhan Tleumuratov spoke about the additional work of the center, noting that vocal, choral, instrumental and acting circles will be opened here, which will create great opportunities for young talents.
As part of the celebration of the 90th anniversary of the district, an award ceremony was held in Khromtau for employees of district organizations and enterprises. The regional akim presented badges and letters of gratitude to Khromtau residents who made a significant contribution to the development of the region.
