Today, the "Tukym-2025. The Kyzylzhar International Conference brought together farmers, domestic and European and neighboring countries' experts. The conference was attended by the Governor of the North Kazakhstan Region Gauez Nurmukhambetov and the "Labor Hero of Kazakhstan" Gennady Zenchenko. The participants got acquainted with the exhibition of seeds of high-margin crops presented by Kazakhstani and foreign producers.
Quality seeds are the basis of high productivity. Last year, farmers received a good harvest, which was possible thanks to the observance of agricultural technologies, the sowing of elite seeds and state support. Breeding also plays an important role - North Kazakhstan scientists have developed a new wheat seed called "Semenovna", which is distinguished by its high resistance to harsh climates.
The region's agriculture is actively developing: modern dairy complexes, sheep farms and feedlots are being opened. In this regard, the development of fodder production and the introduction of productive varieties of fodder crops are of particular importance.
At the conference, domestic and foreign experts discussed issues of increasing seed quality, introducing modern breeding technologies, innovative processing methods, and improving varieties. New varieties of promising agricultural crops of foreign and domestic selection were presented.
"The international conference will become an important platform for exchanging experiences, discussing current issues and prospects of seed production, contributing to the development of the agricultural sector and strengthening food security," the head of the region wrote.
