The international exercise "Winter-2025", aimed at strengthening combat readiness and increasing the coordination of forces deployed for it, has ended in the Turkish province of Kars.
Military contingents from Azerbaijan, Bangladesh, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Georgia, Italy, Pakistan, the USA, Turkey, and others took part in the military maneuvers.
The servicemen overcame passes and snowy fields and conducted "combat operations" in settlements. Poor visibility due to thick snow and the cold of the day made it difficult for units to move.
The operational group of the Land Forces of the Armed Forces of Kazakhstan was involved in decision-making at the command posts of the corps and brigades. The mission of the officers was to plan practical actions and take precautions taking into account winter emergencies. The officers worked out logistics issues, evaluated the orders and received reports.
In total, about two thousand soldiers and officers, front and army aviation, unmanned aerial vehicles, tanks and armored personnel carriers, as well as dozens of pieces of equipment were involved in the maneuvers at the Akbaba training ground.
