The awareness week dedicated to the International Childhood Cancer Day begins today in Kazakhstan and will last until February 17, 2025.
As part of the campaign, a large-scale information campaign will be organized throughout the country aimed at increasing awareness about the problem of childhood cancer, supporting families of patients, and developing community solidarity.

With the support of akimats and the Ministry of Health of the Republic of Kazakhstan, special videos will be shown on the central streets of cities, on LED screens, media boards, and in medical institutions, drawing attention to the importance of early diagnosis, modern methods of treatment, and the need for social support for children fighting this disease.

The goal of the campaign is to draw public attention to the problems facing young patients and their families, as well as to remind them that timely assistance and awareness can save the lives of many children.

“We believe that awareness is the first step to change. "This week is not only a reminder of the importance of fighting childhood cancer, but also an opportunity to unite the efforts of society, doctors and government agencies to help children who need our support," the organizers of the campaign noted.

International Childhood Cancer Day, celebrated on February 15, has become a symbol of hope and unity.
Kazakhstan makes a significant contribution to this global initiative, helping to raise awareness and unite people around an important cause.

The organizers of the campaign, the Help Today Foundation, the Scientific Center for Pediatrics and Pediatric Surgery JSC, and the Kazakhstan Pediatricians' Union Public Association, call on all Kazakhstanis to support this initiative and show solidarity with children and their families. Together we can give them a chance for a healthy future!
