A multidisciplinary hospital with a Shymkent city oncology center held an Open Day dedicated to World Cancer Day. Doctors received and consulted 96 patients.

During the examinations, 4 patients were suspected of having cancer. Benign tumors were detected in 29 patients, and other types of diseases in 37 residents. 21 patients were referred for ultrasound, 8 for computed tomography and magnetic resonance imaging. 15 patients underwent mammography and X-ray examinations.
