On February 7, 2025, a working meeting was held at the East Kazakhstan Akim's Office with the participation of representatives of the State Legal Department of the East Kazakhstan Region and the head of the design office, Sholpan Zhumadilova. The purpose of the event is to discuss ways to combat drug trafficking and develop effective methods for preventing drug addiction.
During the meeting, the main aspects of the current situation with the drug threat in the region and possible directions for developing an effective algorithm for combating it were considered.
Following the results of the discussion, it was proposed to consider the issue of organizing work on combating drug addiction and drug crime within the framework of project management. To implement the project, it is necessary to develop a Project Map based on the criteria approved by the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Kazakhstan, identify those responsible for its implementation, and prepare evaluation parameters and reporting forms.
