As part of the "Year of Working Professions" declared by the Head of State, the grand opening ceremony of the "City of Working Professions" festival, the largest event in the field of technical and vocational education, was held in Astana.

The "City of Working Professions" festival is the first event that officially opened the Year of Working Professions. Eight thematic streets have been opened in the city, and 40 creative houses are presented. Two major tourism organizations of the country are presenting their products at the Tourism House. These are: the administrator of the system for guaranteeing the rights of citizens of the Republic of Kazakhstan in the field of foreign tourism - "Tourist Kamkor" and "Kazakh Tourism NC" JSC.
The festival will last 5 days. On February 15, a panel session will be held at the event venue with the participation of representatives of the Ministry of Tourism and Sports of the Republic of Kazakhstan, experts in the field of tourism, hospitality and public catering. In addition, the festival will host various seminars and master classes, innovation sessions, a parade of professions, a job fair, presentations of startups, concerts and trainings every day.

The festival is organized by the Ministry of Education of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
