This year has been declared the Year of Working Professions in our country. In order to implement the presidential order, a new project “Kadam Life” has been launched in Aktobe, aimed at the professional orientation of students from city and regional schools.
The main goal of the project is to introduce working professions, develop practical skills, and help them find the right decision when choosing a profession.
Under the project, college teachers will conduct demonstration classes in schools on various specialties. Students will get acquainted with the equipment and educational materials used in colleges, as well as participate in master classes and meetings held by experienced specialists in various fields.
To ensure the effectiveness of the program, a preliminary survey will be conducted among students. This will allow the organizers to understand the interests and needs of students, adapt the content of the lessons to their needs.
According to Dina Zhamanbayeva, Deputy Director of the Education Department of Aktobe region, the “Kadam Life” project will help schoolchildren become interested in working professions, master practical skills, and establish contacts between schools and colleges. The project covers 250 schools and about 10 thousand students in 93 specialties, 137 qualifications. In addition, it is planned to hold vocational orientation events in remote villages of the region.
Today, teachers of the Higher Polytechnic College in our city held a vocational orientation event for students of school-lyceum No. 39. The college mainly gives priority to training in technical specialties, so students were shown the process of using various technical equipment. Students received answers to their questions and learned about the conditions for admission.
