The annual amateur athletics tournament INDOOR RUN ASTANA 2025 will be held in Astana on February 23 at the Qazaqstan Athletics Sports Complex, the official website of the capital's akimat reports.

The main goal of the tournament is to promote athletics, develop mass sports and promote a healthy lifestyle.

The competition program includes the following distances: 600 m, 1000 m, 1 mile, 2000 m, 3000 m running, mixed relay running and criterium race.

More than 110 amateur athletes from more than 25 running clubs from 10 regions of the country applied for the tournament. Amateur athletes from the Russian Federation will also participate in the competition. Like last year, people with intellectual disabilities will also compete in the tournament.

Official opening ceremony – 09:30;
Start of the competition – 09:50.
