The Prosecutor's Office of the Zhitikara district of Kostanay region, together with the border service, identified two residents of the district who were engaged in the search and extraction of precious metals without registration and permission at the South Toktarov deposit near the village of Akkarga.
Administrative cases were initiated against the violators, and they were sent to court. The court found the violators guilty, fined them 55,380 tenge each, and also confiscated two metal detectors worth a total of more than 5 million tenge in favor of the state.
Illegal construction is a major violation that can lead to a violation of the ecological balance, therefore, compliance with law and order is an important step towards preserving the environment and maintaining the balance in nature.
