Students of the Almaty College of Energy and Electronic Technologies launched the production of the first solar panels in the training workshop. They presented their projects at the City of Working Professions.
“We make solar panels entirely with our own hands. First, we connect the photocells to each other and weld them to a special base. Then we make a lamination to protect the panel from external influences and fasten it to an aluminum case. At the final stage, we turn on the system and check how efficiently it converts solar energy into electricity,” shared Madi Zhanbolat, a 3rd-year student at the college.
This project will not only help students master modern technologies in the field of renewable energy, but also open up prospects for developing their own production of solar panels in Kazakhstan. In addition, senior college students will have the opportunity to undergo paid internships at leading companies.
