The first large-scale festival "City of Working Professions" is being held in the capital, organized within the framework of the "Year of Working Professions" declared by the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
Today, February 13, President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev attended the festival and paid special attention to the "Corner of Rescuers and Firefighters". It showcased models of modern special clothing for rescuers, fire-technical weapons, a model of a quickly assembled fire department, rapid response firefighting equipment, as well as medical equipment used by employees of the Center for Disaster Medicine.
Vice Minister of Emergency Situations Serik Tulenbergenov introduced the corner of rescuers and spoke about the main tasks of the service and the introduction of modern methods of responding to emergencies. He noted that the constant improvement of the equipment and training of rescuers is a priority of the ministry's work.
The Head of State noted the importance of reforming the vocational education system and emphasized the importance of working professions, including the activities of rescuers and firefighters, who ensure the safety of citizens on a daily basis.
The festival will continue its work and will allow guests to get acquainted with the prospects of technical education and working professions in Kazakhstan.
