In honor of the 80th anniversary of the Great Victory, the Ministry of Tourism and Sports of the Republic of Kazakhstan presents information about sports facilities named after the heroes of World War II.
 
Central stadium named after the Hero of the Soviet Union Bauyrzhan MOMYSHULI. This is one of the main facilities in the center of the Moyinkum district of the Zhambyl region. In 2022, the stadium was renovated as part of the "Aul - el besigi" program. The stadium has small and large football fields, street workout areas, volleyball and basketball courts, and special running lanes in accordance with modern standards.

Hero of the Soviet Union Sports Palace named after Nurken ABDIROV. The sports facility is located in the center of Karaganda. The foundation of the building was laid in 1958. Regular training and training in water polo, judo, Kazakh wrestling, freestyle wrestling, Greco-Roman wrestling, kickboxing, swimming and other sports is held here. International and republican competitions are also mainly organized here.

National Sports Club named after Hero of the Soviet Union Makhmet KAYIRBAEV. The club, located in Pavlodar, is one of the institutions that makes a special contribution to the development of national sports in the Irtysh-Bayan region. More than 150 athletes train here. Representatives of the institution, which forms the main team of the region in national sports, honorably defend the honor of the region at republican and international competitions.

Boarding school-college of the regional specialized Olympic reserve named after Hero of the Soviet Union Aliya MOLDAGULOVA. The educational institution in Karaganda was founded in 1971. In 1988, it was named after Aliya Moldagulova. The institution, which unites sports-loving teenagers in the region, has produced athletes whose names are known throughout the country.

Athletics Manege named after Hero of the Soviet Union Kazbek NURZHANOV. The manege located in Karaganda was renovated in 2023. As a result, favorable conditions were created for the carefree training of athletes with disabilities. For example, para-athlete Dastan Mukashbekov, who won a bronze medal at the Paralympic Games in Paris last year, trains here.

Mangystau Regional School of High Sports Achievements named after World War II veteran Shokyr BOLTEKULY. The school named after the founder of Kazakh boxing is located in Aktau. The main team of the region in Olympic sports is formed and trained here. The school is headed by Adilbek Niyazymbetov, a silver medalist of the 2012 and 2016 Olympic Games in boxing.

Stadium named after World War II veteran Sary KHASENOV. This is one of the main sports facilities in the Shu district of the Zhambyl region. Teenagers play football, mini-football, track and field athletics and other sports here. The stadium has created favorable conditions for athletes to undergo professional training.
