The Minister of Tourism and Sports of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Erbol Myrzabosynov, held a meeting in the capital with young boxers who demonstrated outstanding achievements at the World Youth Boxing Championships, which were held from October 26 to November 4 in Budva (Montenegro) and Pueblo (USA). During the event, the head of the department congratulated talented athletes and their coaches, presenting letters of thanks for their contribution to strengthening the country's sports prestige.
The meeting was also attended by President of the Boxing Federation of Kazakhstan Shakhmurat Mutalip, Secretary General of the Boxing Federation of Kazakhstan Rauan Igenev, senior coach of the women's youth national team of Kazakhstan Zhangeldyakhmetov, senior coach of the youth national team of Kazakhstan Maksat Baktybazarov, as well as winners and prize-winners of the championships.
The Minister emphasized that the successes of young Kazakhstani athletes on the world stage are a significant contribution to the future of the country, emphasizing the symbolic importance of these victories for the younger generation. He expressed confidence that the hard work and commitment of young boxers will inspire new generations and serve as a worthy example.
"The triumph of our young boxers at the World Championships is a significant achievement and a natural continuation of the glorious traditions of Kazakhstani boxing. We demonstrate to the world that a talented shift is growing up in Kazakhstan, which will continue the work of its predecessors. Youth is our future, the hope of the country. Thanks to their talent, perseverance and determination, our athletes have adequately represented Kazakhstan on the international stage," said Erbol Myrzabosynov.
Recall that at the World Youth Championship in Budva, the Kazakh national team won 6 gold, 1 silver and 10 bronze medals, taking first place in the team competition. At the World Championships in Pueblo, our boxers won two silver medals, once again confirming the high level of the national boxing school.
