Akim of the region Abai Nurlan Urankhaev held a working meeting with Ruslan Zhakupov, General Director of NIPI "Astanagenplan" LLP, during which they discussed the General Plan of the city of Semey. The main attention was paid to the key stages of the development of the document, which will become a strategic guideline for the sustainable development of the city.
During the meeting, Ruslan Zhakupov presented updated data on urban planning solutions, transport infrastructure, residential and commercial buildings, as well as improvement plans. Special emphasis was placed on preserving the historical appearance of the city and integrating modern technologies to improve the quality of life of citizens.
Following the meeting, an agreement was reached to hold public hearings and involve experts to finalize the document. The master plan will become the basis for further projects aimed at developing urban infrastructure, improving the environment and attracting investments.
