As part of the implementation of the Tugan zher - altyn Besigim project, the Days of Ridder Culture were traditionally held in Ust-Kamenogorsk. The event was attended by Akim of the East Kazakhstan region Ermek Kosherbayev.
An exhibition of decorative and applied arts and exhibits of the Ridder Museum of Local History was organized in the East Kazakhstan Regional Philharmonic. It was possible to taste and buy different varieties of honey, tea, and pickles at tables with products from local manufacturers.
At the end, the guests were presented with a gala concert with participants of dance groups and artists of the city of Ridder, as well as a performance by the famous Kazakh rock band Ulytau.
- About 180 artists from the city of Ridder are involved. The famous Ulytau band performs, including guitarist Maxim Kichigin, a native of East Kazakhstan from the city of Ridder. He lived with us for many years. I went to major cities of Kazakhstan with my work, where I got into this group, which today represents Kazakh music all over the world," said Yerbolat Oshakbayev, Deputy Akim of Ridder city for social Affairs.
