During a working detour of the Alatau district, Akim of Almaty Yerbolat Dosayev got acquainted with the progress of landscaping of the park on Baganaly Orda Street in the MKR. Karasu.
The project was implemented under the program "Budget of public participation". The construction of a new 800 m long walking area between Moyldy and Kalambayev Streets began in July this year and will be completed next month. It became a continuation of the 400-meter strip repaired last year between Shayakhmetov and Moyildy streets. Thus, a single walking area with a length of 1200 m has been created.
To implement the project, the area overgrown with weeds and thorns was cleared, leveled, paved with asphalt and paving stones. Landscaping was carried out on an area of 55.4 thousand square meters with a 950 m automatic irrigation system. 150 lanterns, benches and urns are also installed for the convenience of residents. The total area of the renovated territory was 6.5 hectares.
After reviewing the work done, the Mayor of Almaty stressed the need for timely completion of the project, as well as the planting of large-sized trees. He also noted the contribution of residents to the development of public spaces.

Residents expressed gratitude to the mayor of the city for the transformed space.
