Today, Vice Minister of Finance Dauren Kenbeil held a meeting with the Executive Director of the Asian Development Bank (ADB), Ms. Justine Diokno-Sicat.
During the meeting, the Parties discussed the prospects for ADB's activities and priorities for further cooperation within the framework of the ADB Country Partnership Strategy in Kazakhstan for 2023-2027.
Justine Diokno-Sicat noted the Bank's readiness to support Kazakhstan's economic reforms, provide advisory assistance and further finance priority projects in Kazakhstan.
Dauren Kenbeil noted that ADB is an important and strategic partner for the Republic of Kazakhstan and expressed appreciation for the joint holding of the 23rd Ministerial Conference of the CAREC Program in Astana on November 7-8, 2024. This ADB program has been conducted for more than 20 years in partnership with other international financial organizations.
The meeting was also attended by Director of the ADB Representative Office in Kazakhstan Utsav Kumar and Senior Economist Gennady Rau.
