Construction of a modern secondary school for 500 students has begun in Kokshetau. The project is being implemented within the framework of the social partnership of business with the support of KazZINC LLP, and is aimed at improving the quality of the educational environment for children of the regional center.
The head of the region stressed the importance of creating high-quality conditions for the education of the younger generation.
"The construction of this school is not just a new facility, but a step towards creating a comfortable educational environment necessary for the growth and development of children, and this is an important contribution to the national education system. Earlier, all the details of the construction were discussed with the management of KazZINC and construction started today. Control and supervision over the progress and quality of the construction work will be carried out by local executive bodies, together with public figures and activists," M. Akhmetzhanov stressed.
According to the representative of the contractor Talgat Khamitov, preparatory construction and installation work is currently being completed with the involvement of about 50 specialists and the necessary construction equipment. The new school will be built according to modern standards and designed for an increased number of student places. Classrooms will be equipped with modern equipment, which will ensure a high level of educational process. A block-modular boiler room will be installed for autonomous heating of the building.
Local residents supported the construction of a new educational facility. Elena Gavrilova, who lives next to the school, expressed her opinion.
"My children and I studied in the old school building No. 10, and I am very pleased that a new, modern school will appear in its place, where our children and grandchildren can study," said E. Gavrilova.
Recall that due to the shortage of student places at school No. 10, it was decided to build a modern educational institution in its place.
