In the Turkestan region, comprehensive state support is provided to investors who want to start a business. Akim of the region Darkhan Satybaldy held a regular meeting of the investment headquarters, where he discussed in detail with entrepreneurs the progress of new projects in the region. The meeting discussed projects in the field of energy, milk processing, textile production, medical products, household chemicals and other areas.
It was stressed at the meeting that comprehensive state support allows accelerating the implementation of new projects. Darkhan Satybaldy noted the importance of creating optimal business conditions, pointing out the need to eliminate unnecessary requirements that may hinder investors. He also instructed the responsible persons to provide infrastructure for the plants and factories under construction.
– It's time to get rid of paperwork. Investors should not be allowed to face obstacles. Each akim and head of the department is directly responsible for this. The implementation of each investment project is under strict control. If there are problems with connecting to electricity or gas, you need to solve them promptly. It is especially important to support projects for the extraction and processing of raw materials. Don't wait for instructions, take the initiative," Darkhan Satybaldy stressed.
He also drew attention to the importance of the new projects presented and instructed the mayors of the districts and heads of relevant departments to provide comprehensive support to investors. He recalled that the work of the akims of districts and cities is evaluated for attracting investments and creating jobs for the population.
The Turkestan region is actively working on the development of production. This year, it is planned to implement 56 investment projects with a total value of 136 billion tenge, which will create more than 2,000 permanent jobs. Currently, 31 projects have been launched.
To reduce dependence on imports, production parks are being created in the region, where ready-made buildings with the necessary infrastructure are provided to enterprises. Currently, 39 such buildings are being built, of which 10 have already been commissioned. There are also 13 industrial zones and a special economic zone with tax benefits, customs exemptions and necessary infrastructure in the region. In total, 53 enterprises operate on the territory of the economic and industrial zones, and 29 more projects worth 139.4 billion tenge are under construction.
The number of entrepreneurs in the Turkestan region has increased by 2,000 and reached 208,000 since the beginning of the year. The sector employs 282,000 people. With the participation of foreign investors, 7 projects are being implemented with a total value of 1.1 billion US dollars, including the creation of a textile cluster and a plant for the production of aluminum products.
