On November 14 of this year, large-scale events were held in the Ulytau region as part of the environmental campaign "Taza Kazakhstan". All of them are aimed at maintaining the cleanliness of natural areas, increasing the ecological awareness of residents and promoting environmental care. Clean Thursdays are organized in cities and districts. They were attended by civil servants of the region, volunteers, teachers and students, as well as local residents.
An open lesson on the topic “Menin taza kalam” was held in one of the schools of Zhezkazgan. And in the neighboring town of Satpayev, an open lesson “Taza Kazakhstan” was organized among students of the technological college. The importance of caring for the environment and the need for nature protection were explained to the students.
In addition, young people willingly took part in the “Taza Kala” campaign for the production of creative videos on environmental topics and an online challenge on the topic: “Tazalykty aulannan basta". No less interesting events were organized in the city of Karazhal. There was a challenge among the residents “This is not my garbage, but this is my planet” and a class clock on the theme: “Tabigatty ayalayyk!” Ulytau district did not stand aside either. There, young people took part in the round table “Divide, surrender, recycle". The young people talked about why separate garbage collection is needed and how to organize it.
Zhanaark residents made their contribution to the campaign “Taza Kazakhstan”. In order to increase the environmental literacy of the population in the district, the distribution of booklets and brochures was organized. A competition “Give waste a second life” and an action “Bring a flower to school” were held in secondary schools. In general, on this day, residents of the region received useful tips on waste recycling, saving energy and water, and preserving natural resources. They reacted positively to the action and expressed their wish to hold similar events in the future. All this is an important step towards strengthening ecological culture and preserving the environment in the region.
