From November 14 to 15, the capital hosts a large-scale Eurasian Kurultai of social entrepreneurs on the theme "Social innovations for a sustainable future". The purpose of the forum is to bring together leaders and experts to share experiences, establish strategic partnerships and present successful cases in the field of ESG and social entrepreneurship, the official website of the Mayor's Office of Astana reports.
It is attended by about 1,000 people, including business representatives, bloggers and activists interested in the development of the social economy. There are also international speakers from countries such as Tajikistan, Uzbekistan, Kyrgyzstan, Russia, India and others.
According to the organizers, participation in the Kurultai is an opportunity not only to gain new knowledge, but also to find like–minded people to work together on social projects.
"Our main task is to bring together leaders of social change, representatives of socially responsible business, non-governmental and government organizations to highlight the importance of socially significant topics in society. First of all, social entrepreneurs solve topical issues of a social orientation," said Emin Askerov, Chairman of the Association of Social Innovators.
During the event, participants will see a fair of products of social entrepreneurs, an award in the nomination "Best Social Entrepreneur-2024" and the signing of memoranda.
