In the museum-reserve "Zhidebai-Borili" named after Abai Abai, as part of the celebration of the 85th anniversary of the outstanding Abai scholar Toleuzhar Ibragimov, a republican scientific and practical conference on the theme "Families of rukhaniyats zhane Toleuzhar Ibragimov" was held.
During the event, issues of research and popularization of the creative heritage of Toleuzhar Ibragimov, as well as the spiritual values of literature and culture of the Abai region were discussed. The program included a literary and musical evening in memory of "Oymen Onasha", the opening of the exhibition "Abai dep sokkan Zhuregi" and the presentation of research on Toleuzhar Ibragimov's contribution to the preservation and popularization of Abai studies.
The conference was attended by Kanipash Madibayeva, Doctor of Philology, holder of the badge "Madeniyet salasyn uzdigi", abaeved Almakhan Mukhametkalikyzy and other experts.
Also, the actors of the Abai Theater and the Dariga-ai youth troupe presented a compositional production called "Oymen Onasha" and an excerpt from the play "Zhas Abai".
