The house at 215 Lenin Street is now decorated with a portrait of B.Mailin, created in honor of his 130th anniversary. The Ural has become a symbol of recognition and respect for the creative heritage of the writer, significant for the entire Kazakh people.
The event was attended by intellectuals, schoolchildren, residents of the city and direct descendants of the famous writer.
As part of the event, excursions to the B.Mailin gymnasium school, a performance by the school theater group with the production "Bi-aganyn biigi", as well as the awarding of the winners of the "Mailin Readings" competition were held.
